At Center Stage,
We offer programs designed to build confidence, creativity and character. We believe every child has something special to share - and we build each performance around their unique strengths. Through original scripts, personalized coaching, and a supportive environment, our students grow not just as performers, but as confident young people ready to shine in every part of life.
Everything we do is centered around four core values: identity, confidence, character and community. We help children discover who God created them to be, grow in the confidence to use their gifts, develop character through kindness, integrity and humility, and learn the importance of encouraging and serving one another.
With after-school classes, workshops and summer camps for
ages 3 -18 in Norman, Oklahoma, our primary goal is to develop:

Classes start in September and last for the entire school year with a Showcase Productions at the end of each semester

Theatre stimulates children’s creativity and imagination. It allows them to step into the shoes of different characters, explore various emotions, and dive into imaginative worlds. Through improvisation and storytelling, children learn to think outside the box, problem-solve creatively, and develop a rich inner world of ideas and possibilities.

Participating in theatre helps children build confidence and self-esteem. When they perform on stage and receive positive feedback from an audience, it boosts their self-belief and encourages them to take on new challenges. Theatre offers a safe space for children to explore their talents, conquer stage fright, develop public speaking skills and develop a sense of accomplishment.

Theatre allows children to express themselves creatively and effectively. Through acting, they learn to articulate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas, improving their verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Theatre is a collaborative art form that requires teamwork and cooperation. Children involved in theatre learn to work together towards a common goal, respect each other’s contributions, and value the importance of teamwork. Theatre exposes children to diverse perspectives and experiences.
